Family Law Commission Public Hearing
Thursday, January 18, 2018 -- 7:00pm-9:00pm
in the Senate Chamber of Legislative Hall,
Family Law Commission website
The hearing will be held Thursday evening, January 18th in the Senate chamber of Legislative Hall in Dover. The hearing will start at 7:00 p.m., followed by public testimony scheduled to begin just after.
Those making statements are asked to confine their remarks to five minutes or less. Written statements and supporting materials are welcome and may go into more detail than it is possible to do in the oral statements. Speakers are asked to keep their remarks general in nature.
Depending upon the number of persons wishing to testify, the commission may limit the length of time each person has to speak. Speakers are asked either to sign up at the hearing or contact the Family Law Commission in advance by calling or e-mailing FLC staff person Dick Carter at 302-744-4155 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can speak on any matter regarding Family Court; all issues are important (i.e., open court, child support, visitation, your experience, etc.).
Let your voice be heard because even though there have been some minor positive changes in Family Court, it is now time for the difficult changes to happen. Without your voice, those who make the decisions will not believe they need to act for positive change.
Please let all your email and facebook/twitter persons know about this meeting of the Family Law Commission.
